What is Cryo 21
The suffix “cryo” is derived from the Greek “kryos” which means ice-cold. This technique was born in America, thanks to researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University. This methodology is approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. It uses cryo-lipolysis action to remove excess localized fat.
Operation and Effects on Human Body
Adipose fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the surrounding area, when cooled they undergo a process of slow and gradual spontaneous emptying, called “apoptosis” (programmed cell death). The lipids elimination from the human body happens through liver, the gastrointestinal tract and lymphatic system, during 15 days. – 20 days.
Capillaries, epidermis, dermis and muscles increase their condition through the elimination of metabolic waste and built up tension stress.
Furthermore, the cooling of the deep dermis stimulates the action of the fibroblasts by increasing the reproductive synthesis of new fibers of collagen and elastin, with an evident increase of dermal density and progressive skin firming.
