Microblading FAQ
Because it is a permanent solution, Microblading is considered a two-step process. At your initial visit, we map out your face to create your perfect eyebrow shape. We then choose the color that best matches your skin tone and eyebrow hair color. The initial appointment is approximately 3 hours long, so please plan accordingly!
It takes a full four to six weeks to heal from this session. During this time it is normal to have 30-70% loss of pigment depending on the client’s skin and how they cared for their brows. As with any cosmetic procedure, it is important to be patient and not to expect immediate results. It can be weeks before you will fully appreciate this treatment.
Step two is considered the perfecting session. At this appointment, we fine tune everything into perfect symmetrically shaped eyebrows that you will love. It is recommended to go conservative at the first appointment to become comfortable, knowing you will be returning for the perfecting session. At this time we will add any strokes that might have disappeared during the healing process. We can also add in more definition, thicken, add a higher arch or elongate the tail if the client desires. Any slight imperfections will be evened out during the second session.
Results will last anywhere from 6-18 months depending on different factors that can affect the procedure. A touchup once a year may be done to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
